Kairos Weekend #40 will take place October 23–26 at Columbia CI Annex, where more than 100 inmates have signed up for 30 participant spots. Please keep this weekend in your prayers, asking God to move mightily in the hearts of those attending.

To send more love for this special mission weekend, we’re collecting cookies for the inmates and volunteers. Please drop off your prepackaged, store-bought cookies at the church office by October 22nd. Thank you for serving with a simple, meaningful act of kindness.

The Closing Ceremony will be held on Sunday, October 26 at 1:30 p.m. in the prison chapel. Visitors are welcome, and we need men and women willing to represent the body of Christ and welcome these new believers into the Christian community being formed behind the walls. Come enjoy a morning of camaraderie and rock climbing as we scale the walls at The Edge Rock Gym. We will climb for about 90 minutes. Afterward we'll spend a few moments applying the lessons learned on the crag to our lives (practically and spiritually).

One of our favorite fall traditions is almost here! Join us for Trunk or Treat & Outdoor Movie Night on Saturday, October 25 at starting at 6:00 PM in the pumpkin patch. We’ll have decorated trunks, candy, costumes, and a be sure to stay for Movie in the Patch starting at 7:00 pm we will be showing Toy Story. Invite your neighbors and friends, bring your blankets for the movie and bags for trunk or treat.

Have even more fun! We’re still looking for volunteers to decorate trunks and donate candy. Reach out to Angie Cosper.

Mark your calendars for November 2nd. What a Sunday it’s going to be! Set your alarms back an hour (thank you, daylight savings), grab your coffee, and join us for a beautiful Unity Service at 10:00 a.m. as the entire Southside Family gathers.

This special morning will include All Saints Day, when we pause to remember and give thanks for the faithful saints who have gone before us, and the Confirmation of our Southside 6th graders.

You're Invited to the Confirmation Service on November 17th. Mark your calendars! On Sunday, November 2nd, we will host a Unity Service at 10:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary to celebrate our 2025 Confirmation Class, of dedicated 6th grade and over students. Come show your support and share in this important milestone as they take the next step in their faith journey. We look forward to seeing you there!

It’s Operation Christmas Child Shoebox time and we need your help. This is an opportunity to share the love of Jesus with children all over the world when we fill these shoeboxes for boys and girls ages 2 to 14.
