Welcome to Southside Youth

Southside Youth is a place just for middle and high schoolers (ages 12–18) to explore what it means to follow Jesus, build lasting friendships, and discover who God created them to be. Whether you’ve been in church forever or you're just figuring it all out, you’re welcome here!

 

We hang out weekly for worship, fun, small groups, and real talk about life and faith. There’s room for questions, a place for everyone, and always something going on.

Middle School Retreat

Get ready, Southside Youth, our first Middle School retreat with Parker is officially on the calendar! This three-day getaway at Epworth by the Sea is the perfect blend of worship, small-group time, beach walks, late-night laughter, and real spiritual growth.

 

Students will step away from the noise, connect with friends, build new friendships, and start 2026 with clear eyes and a faith-filled heart. It’s the kind of trip that sticks with them long after we get home.

High School Retreat

February 13–16, 2026

 

High school students, pack your gloves and get ready for an unforgettable long weekend in the mountains! Our first ski retreat with Parker will take us to beautiful Sapphire Valley, North Carolina, for a trip filled with snow, worship, late-night conversations, and the kind of faith moments that only happen when you step away from your routine.

 

Whether students are first-time skiers or seasoned pros, this retreat is built for everyone, laughter, worship, adventure, and time to grow deeper with God and each other.

At Southside Students, we’re here to partner with you as your child grows in their faith. Through intentional relationships, Biblical teaching, and meaningful activities, we help students take the next step in their walk with Christ. You’ll stay in the loop through regular communication and have opportunities to connect, volunteer, and support your child’s spiritual journey.

This fall, Southside Youth is back with games, worship, service, and fun every week! From Sunday night adventures like Hawaiian Luau, Bible Jeopardy, and Capture the Great Pumpkin, to Wednesday Night Life Groups starting August 27, there’s something for every middle and high schooler.

 

Mark Your Calendars:

Sunday Nights: Chapel Nights, Tailgate Challenges, Youth Patch Party, Friendsgiving, and more!

 

Wednesday Nights: Life Groups kick off Aug 27 with dinner and fellowship, continuing weekly through Dec 3.

 

And don’t forget! Youth will have a big role at the Pumpkin Patch in October, helping run games, activities, and making it a blast for the whole church family.
