Summer has a way of filling up fast, travel, family time, long weekends. But in the middle of it all, one thing can keep you grounded each week: time with God and connection with others.

At Southside , Summer Sundays are designed to help you stay consistent, stay encouraged, and stay connected all season long.

America’s 250th Anniversary Celebration Service

On these two Sundays, there will be no 9:00 or 11:00 services. We will gather for one worship service at 10:00 AM as one Southside family.

Adventure Week VBS is Coming! 🏕️

Pack your camp gear, grab a camp stove, lace up your hiking boots, and saddle up, Adventurers, it’s almost time to hit the trail!

Adventure Week VBS | June 8–12

Join us as we set out on an unforgettable journey to discover God’s truth, blaze new trails of faith, and learn what it means to trust Him every step of the way. From exciting activities to meaningful Bible stories and plenty of fun along the way, this is a week your kids won’t want to miss.

We cannot wait to welcome your adventurers for a week full of faith, friendship, and discovery.

Calling all completed 3rd- 5th grade students who love creativity, learning, and hands on fun!

Join us the Sewing Seeds of God’s Love Learn to Sew Camp! Learn basic sewing skills, using sewing machines, creating simple projects, enjoying daily devotions, and making new friends along the way.

Campers will learn from experienced volunteers and seamstresses in a fun, encouraging environment where creativity and faith come together.

This is a Beginners Sewing Camp, June 22nd–24th, 9:00 am–1:30 pm, in the Family Life Center, $100 per child (Scholarships available)

Intro and Prep day is Sunday, June 21, from 2:00 pm-4:00 pm. Come to meet the leaders and set up your machine. Bring your sewing machines with owner manual, foot pedal, all cords, and two filled bobbins. If you don’t have a machine one will be provided, come to meet your camp mates and teachers.

No sewing experience needed, hurry space is limited! Sewing machines can be provided if needed.

Returning Campers Reunion Day

Previous Sewing Camp participants are invited back on Friday, June 26 for a special Reunion Camp featuring advanced sewing techniques, mission projects, lunch, and a fun take home project.

We’re excited to invite you to this year’s Southside Women’s Ministries Summer Salads Speaker Series, centered on the powerful promise of Beauty from Ashes.

“To give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness…” – Isaiah 61:3

Just like the Fireweed flower that blooms brightly after a wildfire, this summer we’ll gather to hear stories of hope, healing, and restoration, reminders that even in life’s hardest seasons, God is still at work bringing beauty.

Each evening will feature an inspiring guest speaker, meaningful connection around the table, and a fresh summer dinner shared in community.

Invite a friend, a neighbor, or someone who could use a little encouragement. These are the kinds of nights where hearts are lifted and faith is renewed.
