This Week's Lesson: "Let Go of Fear"

Pastor Dale Tedder

Letting Go of Worry

Week 1: Letting Go Of Worry- How to trust God with the things you can’t control

What Scripture says about peace, rest, and freedom. How to live with less anxiety and more grace this summer. Why letting go is a spiritual discipline that leads to joy. Each week stands alone, so you can drop in whenever your schedule allows. Whether you’re at the beach, in the backyard, or on a break at work, you can meet with God and be reminded that his grace is enough.

Let Go of Guilt

Week 2: Let Go of Guilt - Living in the Freedom of Forgiveness

Guilt is a weight many of us carry far too long. But the Gospel offers us something radical: freedom from condemnation through the finished work of Jesus Christ. In this week’s session of our summer Bible study, Travel Light, we look closely at Romans 8:1-4 to discover how God has already dealt with our sin and invites us to live free from shame.

Join us for this encouraging and biblical conversation about what it means to truly believe we are forgiven, and how to walk daily in that freedom. If you’ve ever struggled to let go of the past or questioned whether God’s grace really applies to you, this message is for you.

Let Go of Comparison

Week 3: Letting Go of Comparison

Comparison is a thief: of joy, peace, focus, and purpose. In this encouraging and Scripture-rich episode, we reflect on Jesus’ words to Peter in John 21: “What is that to you? You follow me.” Whether you’ve found yourself comparing your story, success, family, or faith journey to someone else’s, this lesson will help you re-center your heart on Christ and rediscover the beauty of your unique calling.

We’ll also reflect on Paul’s reminder in Galatians 6:4-5 that each of us is called to carry our own God-given load, not someone else’s. If you’re weary from looking sideways, this is your invitation to look up, walk forward, and trust the One who made you on purpose, for a purpose.

Let Go of Control

Week 4 of our summer study in Letting Go. Do you feel the weight of trying to hold everything together? Maybe you’re tired of carrying outcomes, fixing people, or feeling like it all depends on you. In this week’s episode of Travel Light, we turn to the beloved wisdom of Proverbs 3:5-6 and rediscover what it means to surrender control and trust a sovereign God. You’ll be encouraged, challenged, and invited to breathe again, not because the circumstances are easy, but because God is faithful. Let go of what only God can carry, and let him lead.

Let Go of Bitterness

Let Go of Bitterness: Choosing Forgiveness and Grace Part of the Travel Light Summer Bible Study Series Bitterness doesn’t protect your heart, it imprisons it. And forgiveness? It’s not about forgetting, it’s about freedom. In this week’s episode of Travel Light, we look at Paul’s call in Ephesians 4:31-32 to put away resentment and embrace the radical grace of Christ. If you’re carrying a wound, a memory, or a name that still stings, this is your invitation to begin healing. Let go. Not because they deserve it, but because Christ has forgiven you, and your soul is worth more than the pain you’ve carried.

In this week’s episode of Travel Light, we turn to Matthew 11:28-30, where Jesus offers something our hustle-driven culture rarely does: true rest. Not just sleep or time off, but soul-deep rest that flows from walking in step with him. If you’re ready to stop rushing and start breathing again, this episode will gently lead you to the One who never hurries and never leaves your side.

Let Go of People Pleasing

Week 7 - Do you ever feel crushed under the weight of everyone’s expectations? Whether it’s your boss, your family, your social media followers, or even your church, people-pleasing can quietly become a form of bondage. In this week’s episode of Travel Light, we turn to Galatians 1:10 to learn how to let go of that pressure and live for the only approval that truly matters. Jesus invites you to walk in freedom, identity, and obedience, not fear. You are already loved. Already accepted. Already enough in him.
