Wednesdays Just Got Better

 

Midweek Southside makes the middle of your week a little easier and a lot more meaningful.

 

Beginning at 4:30 PM, children can arrive for an afternoon filled with movement, games, music, friendship, and age-appropriate faith conversations. Then, at 6:00 PM, families and neighbors come together around the table for an affordable Family Dinner.

 

After dinner, children, students, and adults can stay for groups, classes, choir, and opportunities to connect and grow.

 

Come for the afternoon. Meet us for dinner. Stay for a group. Midweek Southside is designed to work with your family’s schedule.

KIDS

Kids Can Play, Create, and Belong

Midweek Kids gives children in 1st through 5th grade space to run around, play games, and laugh with friends while making new ones. Afterward, children gather in age-based small groups for conversation that help them grow in faith.

 

Preschool and kindergarten children can participate in Littlest Angels Choir, and additional worship choir opportunities are available for children who love to sing.

Children and their families are invited to join us for dinner and then stay for Kids Group and Adult Classes following dinner.

FAMILY DINNER

Family Dinner Without the Weeknight Stress

At 6:00 PM, everyone comes together for Family Dinner.

 

No grocery run. No cooking. No pile of dishes waiting at home.

 

Just a warm meal, friendly faces, and space to enjoy and connect around the table. Families can feed the whole household of four for a suggested donation of $25.

 

You do not have to participate in an afternoon or evening group to come for dinner.

 

Neighbors, families, friends, grandparents, singles, and people of every age are welcome to dinner.

A Welcoming Place to Learn and Grow 

Beginning at 6:30 PM, students and adults can choose from classes, Life Groups, and other opportunities to build friendships and explore faith.

 

Children are welcome to stay for Kids Group while parents participate in their classes or groups.

 

Whether you are already connected to a church, returning after time away, or simply looking for community in Jacksonville, there is a place for you here.

What to expect on Weds

MUSIC

From the joyful voices of our Littlest Angels and Kids Praise Band to the rich harmonies of our Adult Choir, Wednesday nights are alive with music. 

DINNER

Enjoy a delicious family-style meal each Wednesday at 5:45 PM before classes, groups, and choir rehearsals. Dinner is offered for a suggested donation, and everyone is welcome.

CLASSES

Join one of our Bible-based fall classes and grow in your understanding of Scripture and your walk with Christ. Classes are offered throughout the week for adults of all ages.

GROUPS

Find your people. Life is better in community and our groups help you grow spiritually while building real friendships.
